Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is first woman who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. In both 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit participant and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. The other accomplishments she has achieved includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland's Reykjavik area together with her parents and siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from when she was a young age. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir is 31, (by 2021). She is 5' 7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started with her CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. She performed quite well through the first couple of games. She was among the in the top 10 among over 70. However she was unable to achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. Following that, she participated again in CrossFit competitions and due to her outstanding performance she was able to win the contest becoming the first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. With rising fame as an athlete Annie is a model for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae, among others. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" which has over 1,000 subscribers. It is the channel the channel where she posts videos on eating habits, parenting as well as travel.
