Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up during the war in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was 2 years old when she was divorced from her parents. She is now raised by her mother and stepfather. He is a United States Air Force soldier. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was raised at Tokyo, Japan. In the years that followed she was a part of various local theater productions and later was a model in the Japanese fashion business. Olivia relocated her home to Los Angeles after the family's return to this part of the United States. She pursued her ambition of becoming an actor. After a few small parts in her professional career, she took a very promising turn when she landed the role of Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed TV series Beyond the Break (2006) and also the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She is the host of "The Daily Nut" as well as the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. Since the 2006 television show Beyond the Break, she continues to browse. Her black belt is in taekwondo. At the age of 2000, as she was two years old older, her mother got married. The family has moved numerous times. She lived the majority of her life in Tokyo Japan since that was where her father was stationed. The university she attended was at the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors of Japanese and dramatic art.
