Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and music producer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". Her primary focus is as the performer. According her, is the very first thing she loves. She began playing with it at age nine. When she was 12, music became serious enough for her to start training professionally. In 2013, she picked up songwriting and recorded her debut album. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic roots. While she grew up with only English and was never in Mexico she is very happy about her Hispanic roots. To keep her heritage alive, she is learning Spanish. She also creates songs based on the language. She recorded the Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was picked to perform for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of the year 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she received four "yeses", or votes for the judges during the Seattle audition. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of the rest of her tracks. The group was eliminated at the 5th week of the live performance.
